‘Prithvi’ team back from Jordan

The producers of ‘Prithvi’, Soorappa Babu and N S Rajakumar are back from Jordon after shooting two songs featuring power star Puneeth Rajakumar and Parvathi Menon. Now are contemplating on roping in Shruthi Haasan to sing one of the six songs in the film. If that happens Shruthi will be singing in Kannada for the first time.

Speaking exclusively to IndiaGlitz, producer Soorappa Babu said the Dr Kamal Haasan’s daughter Shruthi will be contacted soon and given the song for her first recording in Kannada film.

Shooting in Jordon, Vadiram, Amman, Petra for eight days with 30 members team from Bangalore the capturing of two songs was a great experience said the producer. For the first time a Jimmy Jip was flown to Jordon to shoot two songs.

The songs Ninegendhe Visheshavadha mahithi Nannalli…Ninagendhe Visheshavadha Sangathi Innelli…written by Jayanth Kaikini and Nenepidhu Nenapidu Kanasali Mareyadha Nenapidhu..Kanasina Manasina Minuguva Hosa Nanapugale… penned by K Kalyan were canned by cameraman in the choreography of Chinni Prakash.

Manikanth Khadri son of Saxophone exponent Khadri Gopalanath has scored six songs for Prithvi. The song Hejjegondhu Hejje… the favorite of Puneeth Rajakumat is in the range of the popular song of ‘Milana’ Ninnindhale…. Ninnidhale…says the proud producer Soorappa Babu.

‘Prithvi’ has completed 81 days in Bangalore, Mysore, Salem, Vizag and Jordon and 70 days in outdoor.

The budget for the Jordon portion of two songs touched nearly Rs.40 lakhs said Babu. Only one day of patch work for the film is remaining. Jacob Verghese has done an impressive job in his second directorial venture complimented Soorappa Babu.
